Description

The Department of Education and Training (the Department) is seeking the development of an Application Rationalization plan. The plan will be an application road map providing Information Technology Branch (ITB) with a clear picture of the current state of its application assets and information on how to enhance their business value while reducing costs and freeing resources for more strategic initiatives. It is envisaged that the plan will document a strategic review of the current functional, technical, financial status of DET application portfolio, identify, estimate and prioritise opportunities for gaining measurable business value in implementing the plan, define project plan and recommend an on-going governance structure and process.
Offeror’s are to respond with a proposal highlighting their proposed approach to the development of an Application Rationalisation plan and deliverables.
