New Farm State School - New Learning Centre (Eligible PQC Contractors Level 3)

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for submissions for the construction of a New Learning Centre and Administration Building at New Farm State School, located at 1020 James St & Heal St, New Farm QLD 4005 as part of the Building Future Schools Program.

The New Learning Centre is three levels including a basement carpark and two upper levels comprising a total of 12 classrooms and associated spaces.

The proposed Administration and Resources Building is three levels including administration reception and undercroft to ground floor, Level 1 staff spaces and Level 2 Resource Centre and associated spaces.

Additional works include relocation of 4 Annie Street Residences, the closure of Hawthorne street adjacent the new learning centre and signficiant landscaping and services upgrades. The position of the building is at the front of the school with limited site access and working space. All works are to be completed by November 2021.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors with a minium PQC Level 3 with certified 3rd Party Quality Assurance and a QBCC Builder's Licence to undertake the entire scope of works.

Submissions close on Wednesday Friday the 30th of September 9th of October 2020 at 2:00 PM.
