Description

The Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) requires the provision of a suitable aeromedical Intra/Interstate hospital patient transfer service for CAHS patients, a service which is critical and integral to their clinical safety.

Through this Request, CAHS is seeking to appoint service provider/s to deliver the requirements under three (3) service categories comprising of:

a) Paediatric Critical Care (PCC): the statewide retrieval service provided to unstable and critically ill paediatric patients that are based at Perth Children’s Hospital (PCH);

b) Newborn Emergency Transport Service (NETS) WA: NETS WA is a statewide retrieval service that transfers newborns and infants requiring urgent or specialised care at PCH or King Edward Memorial Hospital (KEMH); and

c) General Transfer Service: non-urgent intra/inter-state transfers that do not fall under the PCC or NETS WA service category, or the Patient Assisted Travel Scheme (PATS).
