Provision of Aviation Medical Specialist Services to Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF)

The Department of Defence requires the services of personnel to provide Aviation Medical Specialist Services to the Institute of Aviation Medicine (AvMed) within the RAAF, Aerospace Operational Support Group.

AvMed is the national Centre of Excellence in military Aviation Medicine and is involved in international military aviation associations.Located at RAAF Base, Edinburgh, South Australia.AvMed is responsible for the condict of Aviation Medicine training, research and clinical Aviation Medicine governance for the RAAF and Australian Defence Force (ADF).

The Royal Australian Air Force Institute of Aviation Medicine (AvMed) seeks the following specialists to support its ongoing training research and clinical activities:

1.Senior Aviation Medical Officer – Clinical;

2.Senior Aviation Medical Officer – Human Systems Integration (Research);

3.Senior Aviation Medical Officer – Training;

4.Human Factors Specialist.

In accordance with the Conditions of Tender, Clause 1.8, the Commonwealth will accept part tenders against any of the four roles outlined within the Draft Statement of Work.
