The Queensland Government is seeking Proposals for DCSYW009 Evaluation – Keeping Women Safe in their Homes: Private Rental Initiative.
The private rental initiative is part of the Keeping Women Safe in their Homes initiatives, funded through the Commonwealth Women’s Safety Package.
An independent review of the private rental partnerships initiative is required to:
- Better understand the issues experienced by women affected by Domestic and Family Violence (DFV) in accessing safe and stable accommodation, especially in the private rental market
- Better understand how this initiative contributes to increasing the capability of staff and the capacity of the sector, including the integration of supports in the DFV, private rental and social housing sectors, to respond to women affected by DFV
- Identify how this initiative contributes to keeping women safe when they reside in private rental accommodation
