Description
The Department of Health is undertaking the Demolition of the Moreton Bay Nursing Care Home Project in order to clear and unencumber the site for future redevelopment. The project is being coordinated by the Health Infrastructure Branch.
The scope of the project generally includes:
• Separation of the Casuarina lodge Queensland Health site, including services reconfiguration and building works to allow for the realignment and and reconfiguration of the site to separate the Casurina Lodge site from the Nursing Care Home site. The Casurina Lodge will be occupied and operational for the duration of the project. The operation of the service is to continue unimpeded through the duration of the project.
• Demolition and removal of the nursing care unit buildings and infrastructure located on the site (all materials and chattels are to be demolished and removed - with the exception of those elements nominated within the tender documentation; and
• Removal of existing services and site infrastructure to the Nursing Care Home site.
