Wujal Wujal Primary Health Care Centre (PHCC) Roof Replacement

The Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Service (TCHHS) seeks to engage a Contractor to replace the roof sheeting and make modifications to the roof design as documented at the Wujal Wujal PHCC, which is located at 100 Douglas Street, Wujal Wujal, QLD 4895.

The scope of the proposed contract includes, but is not limited to, the following work:
• Removal and disposal of existing roof sheeting (incl. guttering, insulation, etc.)
• Removal and disposal of fans, cowls, and unused assets (i.e. aerials, etc.) on the roof.
• Temporary relocation and protection of existing services to be retained.
• Supply and reinstatement of roof insulation and foil sarking.
• Modification of existing purlins, wall infill (incl. framing, insulation, FC cladding, trims and flashings and external paint finish) in accordance with design drawings.
• Supply and Installation of new 150Z15 and 150C15 purlins and fixing to new purlin cleats in accordance with design drawings.
• Supply and Installation of LT7 0.9 mm BMT Permalite Aluminium roof sheeting (incl. flashing ridge capping laps, etc. to match and to manufacturers specification)
• Supply and Installation of new guttering (incl. aluminium gutter guards and reconnecting into existing downpipes)
• Supply and Installation of new downpipes (incl. reconnecting into existing and new stormwater drainage systems)
• Measure-up, supply, installation, testing, and balancing of the like for like replacement of
the mechanical systems penetrating.
• Installation of fall protection system and roof access points.
• Supply, repair and install internal ceiling and wall finishes in accordance with design drawings.
• Supply, repair and install internal building services in accordance with design drawings.
• Supply and installation of stormwater drainage system including all stormwater piping, rock scour protection, trenching and splashpad
