Description
The Requirement The Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) seeks to engage a consultant to deliver the following services: Develop and trial a repeatable multi-criteria assessment (MCA) geospatial (GIS) planning process that allows for future areas to be assessed for area-level (not site-specific) development of aquaculture enterprises.Using Exmouth Gulf as a case study, identify suitable areas for future aquaculture development.Proactively engage industry and first-nations stakeholders within planning processes enhancing awareness and acceptance of planning outcomes.Deliver preliminary and detailed spatial prioritisation outputs, supporting reports, and legacy materials to enable future application of the planning tool in other Western Australian locations.
