Description
The Department is seeking to establish a panel of consultants to support a review of public transport need and to design and contract for a new network of bus services commencing in 2018 which will serve Tasmania for the next 10 years. The network includes both bus services for the general public and dedicated student services. Consultants will be sought to provide independent, expert advice in relation to one or more of the following subject areas:
(a) strategic public transport policy
(b) transport economics
(c) public transport network planning and design
(d) public transport contracting
(e) financial and economic modelling.
