REMINDER:

An on-site MANDATORY BRIEFING is being conducted 11am (ACDT) on 9 November 2016, at the corner of Stief Street and Marine Parade, Kingston South-East.

Submissions are invited for Construction of approximately 336m of a 2.7m thick x 4.65m high three layered rock seawall and associated dune reinstatement between Stief Street and Peter Avenue at Wyomi Beach, Kingston SE, South Australia.

The scope and description of the project is described within the drawing and the technical specification available for download from tender opening (25 October 2016), for the construction of rock sea wall and associated works comprises the following activities:

• Site establishment;
• Engineering survey to establish current dune Elcorock wall position and levels and current erosion and beach profiles;
• Earthworks including excavation, reinstatement of foredune, working around tides, dewatering, vegetation removal, compaction and trimming;
• Sourcing, excavation, loading, carting and laying of primary and secondary armour rock;
• Supply and lay of geotextile liner and liner protection rock layer;
• Supply and installation of sand drift fencing;
• Construction Safety & Traffic Management;
• Construction Environmental Management Plan;
• Cooperation with others;
• Quality control and testing.
