Description
The City of Salisbury invites Expressions of Interest from qualified, experienced parties for the potential future uses and operations of the existing site known as the Salisbury Council Nursery Facility.
Since 2001, the Nursery has operated as a business unit within Council's operations, propogating for both internal plant needs and actively seeking external sales within the market place.
A review of the Nursery is currently being undertaken as part of Council's business unit review programme. Council wishes to examine potential future options for the operations of the site through a market based expression of interest approach.
Submissions received (and comparison to the current operational model) will allow Council to ascertain the most appropriate way to ensure the ongoing operation of the site for the community's best interest.
Council is offering 2 Briefings at the Salisbury Nursery on:
- Wednesday December 18th 2013 at 12:30pm or
- Wednesday January 15th 2014 at 12:30pm (cancelled due to extreme hot weather, refer Addendum 2).
