Description
The Contract Authority is seeking to establish a Panel Arrangement of approximately 2-4 Contractors willing and able to provide services for the establishment, development, implementation, management, maintenance and support of:
• Core business applications (e.g. in-house or adapted systems from other jurisdictions) including the Transport Executive and Licensing Information System (TRELIS). TRELIS is integral to the department’s business functions as it is the database for all WA driver and vehicle records which also interfaces with many jurisdictions across Australia. TRELIS processes driver licence renewals, motor vehicle registration and renewals, penalties and a range of other transactions. The continued support and maintenance of TRELIS is of critical importance to the department and the WA public;
• Ongoing maintenance and enhancement services for the various key business processes and technologies that support TRELIS;
• Web-based e-business application systems;
• GIS systems;
• Database systems;
• Infrastructure; and
• Corporate applications which may include the intranet, staff register and ministerial work flow system.
Work offered under the Panel Arrangement will be in the form of Base Services and/or Additional Project Services.
This Head Agreement is for an initial term of three (3) years with two, twelve (12) month extension options, exercisable at the absolute discretion of the Contract Authority.
The proposed commencement Date is 1 February 2012. Mobilisation and transition is scheduled to commence on 1 February 2012, while operational service delivery is scheduled to commence 1 March 2012.
