Description
The Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC), on behalf of Stirling City Centre Alliance (Stirling Alliance), is seeking the services of a suitable Respondent that has that capacity to provide a suitably qualified and experienced team to work collaboratively with the Stirling Alliance to provide strategic transport and related technical services
The goal of the Stirling Alliance is for Stirling City Centre to become “a 21st century sustainable city by 2031”. A key to achieving this objective is to ensure that the Stirling City Centre incorporates cutting edge initiatives and solutions in all aspects that can set new standards and benchmarks in urban sustainability.
The WAPC requires specialist consultant expertise to undertake the necessary planning, investigations and reporting required to support the preparation of the following:
• 15% vertical and horizontal concept road designs (as per Schedule 2 Clause 1.3);
• a number of Detailed Area Plans (DAP) and Form Based Codes within the Stirling City Centre Structure Plan Area and Area of Influence as per Schedule 2; and
• an integrated transport strategy.
The Respondent will also be required to provide technical support and strategic advice on an as required basis.
