Lagoon Biosolids Removal Shepparton Wastewater Management Facility

All Goulburn Valley Water Contractors who tender for work with a total of 100k or more will be required to have a third party certified safety system e.g. AS/NZS 4801:2001

General Scope of Works Biosolids Removal -

The Shepparton WMF is located at Daldy Road. Access to the lagoon site is from Daldy Road via Barmah-Shepparton Road.
The facility consists of a High Rate Anaerobic Lagoon (HRAL) 2 partial-mix aerated lagoons (1 and 2) that discharge to several oxidation lagoons followed by a treated effluent winter storage and irrigation areas. Aerated lagoons 1 and 2 operate in series. The site is not subject to an Environmental Significance Overlay (ESO). A special permit for the works is not required but the Contractor is required to comply with the requirements of the overlay. The .ESO will be made available to the Contractor upon award of Contract.
Lagoon 1 is the only lagoon to be partially desludged.

A compulsory site inspection with representatives of the Corporation is required.
