Alexandrina Road Reconstruction

The District Council of Mount Barker invites tenders from suitably qualified contractors to reconstruct a portion of Alexandrina Road, Mount Barker. The contract shall comprise the whole of the plant, labour and materials necessary to execute the works described in the specification and shown on the drawings, including any obvious items for the proper completion of the work associated with the project comprising but not limited to:

·Clearing, demolition and earthworks including removal of existing pavement and kerbing

·All testing and independent level testing of the subgrade

·Stormwater construction including box culvert crossing with headwalls and rock scour protection

·Roadworks construction including supply of materials, pavements, concrete works, line marking and traffic control devices

·Adjust service covers

·Undertake As Constructed surveys and prepare As Constructed documentation

·Streetscape

·Removal of existing stobie poles, installation of new poles

·Tidy up and make neat
