23-17 Sewer Manhole Rehabilitation (Civil Works)

South Gippsland Water (SGW) is seeking tenders for the provision of its Sewer Manhole Rehabilitation program (Civil Works). As part of its ongoing commitment to service, SGW continually monitors and assesses the condition of its maintenance holes. Many of these maintenance holes impacts our ability to carry out our sewer rehabilitation and sewer relining program due to have restricted or no access to our maintenance holes, thus limited access to the sewer main.

The works will be procured through a Framework Agreement (Minor Works) contract, in accordance with a Schedule of Rates. This contract will remain valid for a fixed term period of 4 years with the option of two 1-year extensions at SGW's discretion. The scope primarily includes civil works such as: location assessments of buried maintenance holes, replacement of maintenance hole frames and covers, raising buried maintenance holes, drop pipe repairs, constructing new end of lines, and as-construction documentation. Note: The scope of work does not include the coating of the internal surfaces of the sewer manholes. SGW intends to issue a tender for the coating works separately.

A briefing session will commence at 10:30am on Thursday 4th July 2024 at SGW’s Leongatha Office (17 Cusack Rd, Leongatha VIC 3953). Contractors are required to register their intention to attend with Henry Huang (contact information below) with at least 48 hours' notice.

RFT documents are to be downloaded and to submitted via the the South Gippsland Water Tender Portal at www.tenderlink.com/sgwater. Completed responses including all completed Schedules must be submitted via the electronic tender box at tenderlink. Respondents will receive a successful ‘Submission Receipt’ timed and dated upon completion.
