Description

The Sullivans Cove Waterfront Authority, on behalf of the Tasmanian Government, invites expressions of interest from multi-disciplinary design teams to prepare a strategic planning document for the Hobart Railyards for public consultation and to identify any subsequent statutory amendments that may need to be made. The Tasmanian Government is investigating whether the redevelopment of the Royal Hobart Hospital is feasible on the Railyards site. The strategic planning task undertaken by the consultant will involve the analysis of public space, built form, movement and transport, and land use and activity. This planning task is required irrespective of whether a hospital proceeds on the site or not. This is a two-stage short-listing process.
