Evaluation of the National Framework for Action on Dementia 2015-19

The Customer is seeking offers for the provision of a report evaluating the effectiveness of the National Framework for Action on Dementia 2015-2019 and to scope options for national action to address dementia in the future, as described in this Request.

A draft report due December 2019, with final report due February 2020 comprising two parts:

1. Evaluating the Framework and whether it has achieved its purpose. The scope of the evaluation is the actions of Australian governments. “The purpose of the Framework is to guide the development and implementation of actions, plans and policies to reduce the risk of dementia and improve outcomes for people with dementia and their carers”.

2. On the basis of evaluation outcomes provide suggestions on future actions to address dementia in the future. This component of the report will apply to all governments, service providers, peak groups and associations, research organisations and experts, clinicians, families and carers.
