Provision of Luxury Coach-with-Driver Services to COMCAR

COMCAR, within the Department of Finance (Finance) provides car-with-driver service to a number of entitled clients, including the Governor-General, Prime Minister, Senators and Members of Parliament, the Federal Judiciary, overseas Guests of Government and other officials.

Finance is seeking a Service Provider(s) with the necessary experience and capacity to provide luxury coach-with-driver services for the provision of transport to COMCAR clients (Services). Optional services include the provision of luggage transportation services (Optional Services).

Finance is seeking to appoint a Service Provider(s) to provide the Services to Finance for an initial term of three (3) years, with the option to extend the Contract for two (2) separate periods of one (1) to three (3) years each. Any option to extend the Contract will be exercised at the sole discretion of the Commonwealth and will be based on available funding and satisfactory performance by the Service Provider. The length of term for the extension period will be between one and three years, confirmed when the option is exercised.

It is Finance’s preference to enter into a Deed of Standing Offer with one Service Provider, although, Finance recognises that that multiple Service Providers may be required in order to provide the Services in all locations. However, Service Provider(s) are required to deliver all of the Services outlined in this Statement of Requirement in each location.
