Description
The works covered by the Specification have been divided into two distinct areas, Dedicated Bicycle Lanes and General.
The section of this specification covers removal of existing line marking where necessary and the remarking of all lines in the required location along .This equates to the removal of approximately 13km of existing line marking and the remarking of approximately 17.3km (solid) and 8.6km of broken white lines.Sub section 4.1 of the Specification details the required layout.
The General section of the specification covers general linemarking throughout the City of and involves approximately 20km of continuous (solid), 10km of broken white lines, repainting of stop & give way bars, bike symbols, rumble bars and placement of pavement delineators.Sub section 4.2 of the Specification details the streets that are covered.
All linemarking undertaken is to be in accordance with Australian Standard AS1742 “Manual of Traffic Control Devices”.
