Description
Tenders are invited from experienced contractors to undertake the rekerbing of a 900 m section of Highfield Avenue St Georges. Highfield Avenue runs behind Linden Park Primary School, and therefore works are to be undertaken mainly within the date range: 14 - 30 April 2007. Tenderer's are to provide a detailed construction timetable (including showing preliminary works that can be undetaken prior to these dates). Contractors are invited to provide alternative construction proposals, which may include construction works being undertaken over a shortened day (eg 9am - 3 pm).
Works also include the modification of the junction of Highfield Avenue with Portrush Road, which will require approval from TSA.
The Contractor's proposed construction timetable will be a significant factor in awarding the contract.
