For the provision of new tram cars and improved tram services for the Glenelg Tramline through a Public-Private Partnership with TransAdelaide

The Government of South Australia seeks Expressions of Interest (EOI) from interested persons with the capacity to upgrade and operate Glenelg tram services in metropolitan Adelaide through a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) with TransAdelaide. The upgrading is expected to include the provision of new tram cars and improvement of associated tram infrastructure. The operation of the services is anticipated to be for an initial period of about 15 years. Expressions of interest are sought from parties with the capacity to deliver high quality, value-for-money improvement in infrastructure and services. The process will be followed by a formal Request for Proposal (RFP). The preparation of the RFP will be informed by the EOI and the RFP will be issued to interested persons short-listed through the EOI. SUBMISSION CLOSING DATE: As the resolution of the State election is still in abeyance, the closing date for the lodgement of submissions will be extended.
