Lower Murray Reclaimed Irrigation Areas - Funding Study

The Lower Murray Reclaimed Irrigation Areas are located between Mannum and Wellington along the Murray River (plus an area on the Finniss River). The infrastructure requires rehabilitation and there is likely to be a need for restructuring of the dairy farms in the area. Tenders are invited from organisations capable of developing effective, efficient and equitable arrangements for public funding to accelerate and facilitate restructuring and as contributions to the costs of works, to rehabilitate irrigation and drainage, or for alternative land use. The funding study involves: - developing the principles and criteria for public funding; - preparing the public funding packages; and - assessing the impacts of adoption of these funding packages.
