Distribution of Print Collateral - Provision of Brochure Distribution Management

Tourism Tasmania is a statutory authority established by the Tourism Tasmania Act 1996 to market Tasmania as a desirable tourist destination; to facilitate the sustainable growth of the Tasmanian tourism industry; to support the Tasmanian tourism industry to achieve best practice in delivery of products and services; and to undertake strategic planning for the development and growth of a sustainable tourism industry in Tasmania. Tourism Tasmania is seeking a contractor with the skills and expertise to provide cost efficient brochure distribution and management services within Australia (excluding Tasmania) to service the needs of the retail travel industry. The successful contractor will ideally have a proven record of managing national distribution to the travel industry. It would be desirable for the successful contractor to also currently hold several other major travel/tourism industry accounts and to own and manitain an up to date national database of travel agents. Tourism Tasmania will not provide a national database of travel agents. Tourism Tasmania invites written responses to enter into a contract for a three year period from September 2006 from contractor who have the capacity to fulfil the following needs: The distribution of a suite of brochures through the following designated distribution channels: Travel agencts (Australia-wide) excluding Tasmania; Ad-hoc distribution requests as authorised by Tourism Tasmania; Travel and Trade Shows (Australia-wide) as required, excluding Tasmania; and The provision of a suite of high quality reports, which reflect the distribution of the brochures. A flexible system that will allow for future variation in service requirements, whilst encompassing the following essential services: storage of brochures; and collating, packaging and distribution of brochures on a regular basis through designated channels.
