Australian Government Department of Home Affairs
Establishment of a Panel to Deliver Training Services for Australian Border Force Marine Capability
Details
Description
The Department of Home Affairs requires suitably qualified organisations to be on a panel of Registered Training Organisations to provide Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) accredited marine training courses to support the marine workforce to attain and retain qualifications related to engineering, deck and safety functions. These Industry Standard Courses must be AMSA approved and meet the standard of the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers 1978 as amended.
While the majority of the training will be for industry qualifications, ABF also requires service providers to provide customised training solution to address specific learning and development needs.
