Track Strategic Service Support - Processes and Procedures Update

The PTA is seeking external support for strategic updates and revisions to our Works Management Process, WMP Level 3 flowchart, defect reporting and supporting practices. Further to this, support is requested to implement an interim asset monitoring solution using software packages currently available in the PTA suite of options (PowerBI and Microsoft Azure), noting that the current software relied on by the Track Branch, was not fully commissioned and is no longer under a vendor support agreement, introducing further challenges for the branch. The above need has realised due to the compounding impact from COVID-19, staff turnover, resourcing levels from extended leave/ position vacancies, a rapidly changing technology space, limited condition monitoring due to the IDV incident and subsequent non-serviceability period, and provision of technical support for PPD and OMTID project delivery. Maximum benefit would be gained for the PTA if the scope of support considered all elements listed above.
