Description
The PTA has a requirement to replace/maintain existing fencing across the Urban Rail Network to ensure security of assets and public safety. Approximately 6km of fencing materials is used annually; however, such things determine the actual requirement as damage caused by vandalism, accident, upgrades, inclement weather and similar unforeseen events.
The PTA primarily installs and maintains fencing using internal resources; however, from time to time external resources are used to provide installation services.
The Public Transport Authority seeks tenders from suitably qualified companies to establish as panel arrangement to perform the services for the provision of the Supply and Installation and Maintenance of Fencing .The proposed Contract term is an initial three (3) years, with 2 x 1 year extension options, this is at the discretion of the PTA.
