Description
The Critical Health ICT Infrastructure Program (CHIIP) will be deploying new campus network infrastructure across approximately 200 WA Health sites. HSS has outsourced the design, commissioning, and ongoing support of these networks to a Managed Service Provider (MSP). Project Management Services Project Manager Health Support Services (HSS) will be supporting the WA health system to implement contemporary, secure, supportable, and standardised Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) based Local Area Networks, across WA Health sites and has stood up a program team to deliver a two-phase Critical Health ICT Infrastructure Program (CHIIP). The service objectives of this contract are to perform the following: Plan for the delivery of the required project work, using a defined project management methodology and using project management techniques and tools. Facilitate and maintain the delivery relationships between HSS, vendors and key stakeholders.Assist the program with establishment and reporting to Governance and advisory bodies, relevant to the project stream.Monitor and report the progress of workstream against existing baseline scope, budget, and cost tolerances.Conduct and report effective Issues and risk management.To support other Portfolio Management Activities if /as they arise.Act as an initial contact for workstream related issue escalation and resolution.Act as the interface between the HSS Program Team, vendors, Health Service Providers, and other key stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of the assigned project workstream. In addition to the key deliverables outlined, the resources will play a pivotal role in the overall success of the Critical Health ICT Infrastructure Program (CHIIP) and be required to contribute to the shared outcomes of the Program team. This will include contributing to the application of principle evidence driven decision-making in alignment to quality management standards, as well as quality reporting and scheduling. Offer, Evaluation and Award Details Engagement for this service will be undertaken on an hourly rate basis.For the purposes of this Request, it is envisaged that the quantity of the service will not exceed what can be provided by one (1) full time employee. It is essential that any nominated specified personnel have: full knowledge of WA Health Support Services operational support organisational structures.plan, design and implementation of network / security services transition within a health services environment.strong team leadership and communication skills.experience in delivering large, complex network facilities programs of work. It is highly desirable that the organisation and any nominated specified personnel have experience working in and/or with a WA Government agency due to the complex nature of the work environment.
