Townsville Hospital and Health Service
Supply of Strategic Asset Management Software
Details
Description
The Townsville Hospital & Health Service (THHS) is charged with the management of a range of assets, including land, buildings, plant and equipment. The THHS recognises that these assets must be managed so they continue to meet the requirements of the THHS health services strategic plan, whilst achieving best value and meeting safety and compliance requirements.
The THHS currently manages asset data using SAP based Finance and Materials Management Information System (FAMMIS), however the system is limited and restricts the asset management planning capabilities available.
The THHS is seeking to procure strategic asset management software capable of compiling a complete asset register for each THHS site (approximately 15,000 assets in total), produce a full lifecycle forecast and prioritised planned work projects. It is envisaged the project will achieve the following objectives and outcomes:
• Effectively manage life cycles of assets;
• Manage asset risks;
• Appropriately manage asset related data to enable evidence based decisions;
• Align asset management with intent to achieve the THHS strategic plan;
• Determine the assets suitability for purpose;
• Determine the effectiveness of investment and maintenance programs.
