CON6216 Rail Safety Services Panel

Queensland Rail has a requirement for an external panel to provide Rail Safety Services support to the business areas of Queensland Rail on an as needed basis.

There will be no guarantee of frequency of work and no exclusivity to the arrangement. Requests for services will be dependent on the skill set within the specific disciplines of Rail Safety Services relevant to the project, process, or review being undertaken by Queensland Rail.

Successful Tenders will be required to provide services in some or all of the following categories:

• Rail Safety Research
• Human Factors
• Investigations
• Audit & Assurance
• Safeworking
• Dangerous Goods
• Fatigue Risk Management

Queensland Rail has achieved significant improvement on our safety journey; however, we also recognise the need to invest further in external expertise to provide a variety of services related to Rail Safety Services for the organisation.

The objective of establishing the panel is to ensure that Queensland Rail can call upon members of the panel to carry out specific work promptly without the need to go out to tender. By establishing a panel Queensland Rail seeks to have available a number of pre-qualified providers which Queensland Rail is able to choose and obtain final quoting from.
