Description
The Department of Energy and Climate is seeking Proposals for Engagement and Capacity building in First Nations communities around Queensland's major network transmission and renewable energy infrastructure.
DEC is inviting Queensland-based First Nations organisations to lead a community engagement and capacity building project in partnership with regional First Nations organisations.
The project aims to support First Nations communities impacted by the development of Queensland's major network transmission and associated renewable energy infrastructure and Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) regions, with the goal of enabling these communities to actively participate in and benefit from renewable energy development.
Suppliers and regional partners must be a First Nations, based in Queensland or have an existing Queensland presence. The Supplier must be willing to partner with regionally based First Nations organisations in proximity to the development of Queensland's major network transmission and associated renewable energy infrastructure in Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) regions.
The complete contract requirements and deliverables are specified in Schedule 1 of the attached ‘Contract Details’.
