Description

Particulars

This project aims to create a step-change in our capacity to enhance conservation outcomes for threatened species by assessing a suite of genomic tools that could provide managers with the critical information needed to rapidly decide on appropriate management actions. This project expects to bridge the gap between basic research and application by developing and applying new genomic tools to a real-world conservation case study. Expected outcomes include a framework for future integration of genomic approaches in adaptive conservation management. This should provide significant benefits, including increased accessibility to genomic tools that can rapidly provide the critical information needed to make informed conservation decisions.
