Awarded

Description

We are seeking a cost-benefit analysis of measures to manage noxious emissions from non-road diesel engines (NRDE). NRDE equipment is used in a wide range of applications such as construction, mining, agriculture, marine and general industrial applications. The analysis will require modelling of emissions, population exposure, health impacts and industry impacts.
Noxious emissions from diesel engine exhaust have negative health impacts and NRDE emissions are currently unregulated in Australia. Evaluating the potential for a national approach to manage NRDE emissions is a priority under the National Clean Air Agreement.
