Scope: Developing and managing the production schedule in line with the master schedule. • Setting up and managing a system for version control. • Liaising with all relevant managers, review contacts and any external providers to manage the documents through the various review and approval processes. This will include attending team meetings; checking in frequently with authors, designers and document owners; and making sure all inputs meet their deadlines. • Reviewing for consistency, design quality and accuracy – checking each document before it’s released and marking up required changes for designers. Working closely with the editorial team to keep on top of written style additions and changes. • Working closely with managers running concurrent timelines and overarching programs to ensure there is no overlap, confusion or conflicting instructions. This will involve regular communication to keep on top of the changes that are made to timelines and many requests that will be made for draft copies of documents. • Communicating effectively with all relevant parties so time is allocated in senior team members’ diaries, time restrictions and deadline dates are clearly understood, and any issues or calendar conflicts are dealt with as quickly as possible. • Liaising with external providers such as printers, image library owners and marketing departments for services.
