Description

Tenders are invited from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the replacement of the existing timber bridge with a new concrete bridge structure on Wilsons Pocket Road, Gympie, Queensland.

A site inspection will take place onsite on Friday 22nd March 2019 at 10:00am. The location of the meeting is McLeish Bridge, Wilsons Pocket Road, Wilsons Pocket (approximately 5km east from the Tin Can Bay Road intersection). Attendance at this meeting to discuss the Request for Tender is not mandatory. Tenderers are responsible for meeting their own workplace health and safety obligations whilst attending the site inspection.

Suitably endorsed tenders close at the below website address at 2pm Thursday 4th April 2019. In accordance with s228(8) of the Local Government Regulation 2012 (Regulation), Council may decide not to accept any tenders it receives. In accordance with s288(9) of the Regulation any accepted tender must be the one deemed most advantageous to Council. It is noted that the lowest price tender may not be the most advantageous.
