2015 Beenleigh Train Crew Facilities Building and Carpark

This project is for the supply and installation of a demountable building facility and the construction of a carpark at Beenleigh stabling yard, for the use of train crew. The broad objectives for the new facility are as follows:

•Design a new demountable style building with complete fit out, including all internal services, and footings and external localised connections; Comply in all respects with the Building Code of Australia and all other Legislation. Seek building certification;

•Liaise with the Queensland Rail’s internal designers on the design for any CCTV coverage, telecommunications and data connections internal to the building:

•Queensland Rail’s team will hard wire all internal data for the facilities. As such the Contractor is required to liaise with Queensland Rail’s communications team to facilitate this activity.

•Deliver and install the demountable building.

•A Principal Contractor will be responsible for the carparks works and the design, supply and installation of the building.

•The Contractor will also be responsible for removal of the existing demountable buildings

•Any final site fitout and finishes e.g. fittings & fixtures, installation loose furniture, and relocation of existing furniture (within the existing train crew facilities) to be provided by the Contractor.
