Description
The Public Transport Authority (PTA) has, at present, a total of 74 Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPSs) all throughout its Urban Railway Network.
These UPSs provide continuous supply to most of the critical loads connected in the network during a power interruption or failure of the normal supply and/ or stand-by Supply. This function makes these units as critical as their load, so its proper operation must be assured at all times. This calls for a preventive and corrective maintenance of these units.
To meet this requirement, it is PTA’s intent to establish a Panel Contract for the provision of electrical services maintenance on these units. The maintenance will be on a programmed as well as ad-hoc basis.
