Palmwoods State School - PWD Access

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a PWD Amenities and access at Palmwoods SS, located at 111 Palmwoods Montville Road, Palmwoods QLD 4555, as part of the Ed4All (ED4ALL) program.

The PWD toilet includes refurbishing an existing storeroom and converting into a PWD toilet including electrical and hydraulic connections, fittings, and fixtures. Access walkways includes site preparations, retaining walls, screens, and covered structures. The stages are spread across the school with limited site access and working space. All works are to be completed by June 2024.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1,000,000.00
• Have certified 3rd Party Quality Assurance, and

Minimum PQC Level 2 Eligibility required.

Where a PQC Level is stated, the Principal is not obliged to provide tender documents, consider or accept a tender unless the tenderer is appropriately registered under the Queensland Government's PQC System for that PQC Level (or higher) and categories for which the tender is invited.
