Description

Background

The Public Transport Authority of Western Australia (WA) is currently undergoing a remediation program of the works at the Kalgoorlie Train Station. The Kalgoorlie Train Station is registered with the Heritage Council (01279) therefore all remediation works must consider the planning challenges that are inherent with such works.

Scope of Works

The PTA requires a contractor to undertake two separable portions of work:

1. Separable Portion 1 - Stonework Conservation and Installation of Breathing Strip; and

2. Separable Portion 2 Optional Works - Repairs to the Kalgoorlie Station Verandah Canopy.

The PTA reserves the right to award Separable Portion 1 only, and in its absolute discretion and by notice in writing to the Contractor, the PTA may elect to have the Contractor carry out Separable Portion 2 Optional Works.
