The Provision of Secure Ground Transport for the Australian International Airshow

The Australian International Airshow is held biannually with the next Airshow (AIA15) and associated activities scheduled between Sunday 22 February 2015 and Monday 2 March 2015, with delegates arriving / departing on the days either side of this event. Chief of Air Force (CAF) has invited his international counterparts to attend AIA15 and associated activities.

For AIA15, transport will be required from Melbourne airport for CAF’s V-VIP and VIP guests at varying times to CBD hotels and return on departure. Daily transport to and from Avalon will be required by the international delegations during the Airshow. Transport for evening functions will also be required. Anticipated heaviest usage of transport during the Airshow is Tuesday 24 February 2015 and Wednesday 25 February 2015. A three day Spouses’ Program will also be offered on 23 – 25 February 2015 inclusive and transport will be required for that program. Services will comprise transport by either limousine and/or luxury coach (depending upon requirement).

The initial term of the standing offer will be for two years (which will cover the requirements for AIA15) with two two-year extension options (which will cover the requirements for two additional airshows, i.e. AIA17 and AIA19).
