PROVISION OF PASSENGER TRANSPORT SERVICES FOR ANSETT CUP AND AFL MATCHES FOR THE 2001 SEASON.

The Passenger Transport Board invites interested parties to apply to provide bus passenger transport services to and from Football Park for the Ansett Cup and AFL matches during the 2001 season. Services will operate as premium services and approval can be sought under Regulation 4A of the Passenger Transport Act, 1994. Interested parties are required to submit, in writing, the following details:  Timetables, including proposed routes and pick up and set down points;  Fare structures;  Number and size of vehicles to be used;  Which matches services will be provided for;  Location of park and ride point; and  Proposed ticket sales network. Special Conditions The Passenger Transport Board will be promoting these services early in January 2001. Operators must ensure the efficient boarding of passengers after matches. Closing Time: Applications will be received on an ongoing basis however, for promotional purposes operators seeking approval to provide services should apply by Wednesday 3 January 2001.
