Danggu Geikie Gorge Recreation Area is in the Geikie Gorge National Park and Conservation Park which is located approximately 20kms east of Fitzroy Crossing.
As part of a multi-stage redevelopment project the tour-boat dock facility is being moved closer to the car park and is being redesigned to help meet disabled access standards. The requested works will provide access from the car park to the new dock facility as well as a river view lookout and interpretation opportunities. Following each tourist season the pontoon docks are removed for the impending wet season.
