Bridgewater Bridge Independent Cost Estimation and Programming

The Department wishes to establish a standing offer arrangement with a professional service adviser that can be engaged from time to time to provide professional services to the Department in respect to the procurement and administration of the Design and Construct (“D&C”) Deed for the New Bridgewater Bridge Project ("Project").

The standing offer arrangement will be established with a view that the successful Tenderer will provide independent and professional cost estimation and construction programming advice as required by the Department. This may include the provision of a robust review of detailed costs and schedule information provided by Early Contract Involvement Tenderers in their Tender submissions and subsequent contract negotiations. It may also include advice on the costs and time implications of requests for Changes during the D&C phase of the Project.
