Emerald North State School - Permanent Shade Structure (With Design Responsibility)

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a Permanent Shade Structure over the existing courts at Emerald North SS, located at Campbell Street, Emerald, QLD, 4720, as part of the School Infrastructure Enhancement (SIE) program.

The works include design and construction of a new solid roof over one of the double sports court, new sports equipment, court resurfacing and line marking. The position of the building works is at the side of the school with easy site access and ample working space. All works are to be completed by the end of September 2023

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

·Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works

·Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1 Million

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
