Carpark Works - 60 McarthurAvenue, Northshore Hamilton

The Economic Development Queensland (EDQ) invites tenders for the construction of a public access carpark located at 60 McArthur Avenue, Northshore, Hamilton.

The works involves construction of new driveways, carpark pavement, signage and appropriate line marking. There is also an extent of existing concrete pavement to remain on site and serve as carpark space.

The carpark will be constructed in a single stage with no future stages planned. The Contractor is to provide a construction program for this project, indicating in detail the manner in which the works are to be constructed, including allowances for the completion of electrical works. Works will commence approximately in mid/late June. A program time of 6-8 weeks would be preferred.

The carpark involves earthworks of approximately 500 cubic metres, the construction of 2,211 m2 of carpark pavement area, 2 new concrete driveways, 26 m of storm water drainage, some repair works to remove trip hazards and re-instate pit lids for safety, linemarking over all new and existing pavement areas and lighting and electrical.

The contractor must supply their own (generator) or request temporary electrical service from an adjacent building as there is no low voltage to the site currently and these needs to be priced as part of your tender.
