Queensland Art Gallery Dimmers Upgrade

Arts Queensland (AQ) seeks to engage a suitably qualified and experienced electrical services contractor to complete the Queensland Art Gallery dimmers upgrade within the Cultural Centre precinct, South Brisbane. The works are to be performed in accordance with the specification, and it is anticipated that the Works would be performed late-May 2013 to mid-June 2013, with all Works and invoicing are to be completed no later than Friday, 28 June 2013.

The summary of Works incorporate; upgrade of existing Jands dimmer with LSC dimmers only, wiring of new controls to existing Dynalite panel and discarding of existing Unison panel, purchase of a maintenance laptop for Dynalite software and commission the Dynalite Lighting Control System (including configuration of server for QAG including Map View layouts) on levels 3 and 5 of the gallery.

Note regarding submission:
The Additional Provisions document has been provided (pdf version) for reading purposes. The Additional Provision Section 6 Response Schedules, Minor Works Tender Form and Minor Works Conditions including Annexure (refer last page) and Maintenance Services Offer Form have been provided (word doc) for completion and printing for submission. Offers must be submitted in the format (Hard copy only) and by the closing date and time (strictly) identified in Section1 of the Additional Provisions to tender document.

Mandatory Industry Briefing:
AQ will be hosting a Mandatory Industry Briefing at 10.00am on Tuesday, 9 April 2013 at the Cultural Centre Training Room, State Library of Queensland, Level 0, Car Park Level, Stanley Place Tunnel, South Brisbane QLD 4101, which will be followed by a work site inspection. If attending, please register as indicated in clause 2.3.2 of Additional Provisions to Tender document. Attendance is mandatory, and Tenderer’s who do not attend this MIB will not be eligible to submit a Tender.
