Application Availability (Load Balancers)

The University of Queensland provides the majority of its information systems from internal services on locally managed infrastructure which includes compute, storage and networks. With the advent of new technologies such as Cloud Services, the existing aging infrastructure no longer meets the future needs of the organisation. Informed by the ongoing Infrastructure Delivery Review & Strategy, Information Technology Services is conducting a program of work to deliver the Next Generation Data Centre. This will support solutions that are of strategic importance to The University of Queensland and cater for future requirements. The Next Generation Data Centre Program consists of four projects; Network Fabric, Compute and Storage, Application Availability and Application Security. This tender addresses Application Availability requirements only.
