Description

Particulars

The Lived Experience Advisory Committee (LEAC) is a key governance group of the Housing and Mental Health Agreement 2022. The LEAC is made up of representatives who are a diverse group of consumers of mental health, social housing and homelessness services. The LEAC will meet 4-7 times a year. It will review the key HMHA documents; provide feedback on agenda items and raise key concerns and issues to the HMHA State Steering Committee (SSC). Given the vulnerabilities of the representative group, the Department of Communities and Justice has sought to engage Public Interest Advocacy Centre Ltd as they have the expertise and experience in developing and maintaining lived experienced committees.
