Description

The Queensland Parliamentary Service is seeking submissions for waterproofing works to the balconies located on Level 2 of Parliament House at the corner of George and Alice Streets, Brisbane.

Depending on requirements these services specifically include:

  • Dilapidation survey and site measure to confirm quantities
  • Removal of existing liquid applied waterproofing product applied to exposed top surfaces of balconies
  • Temporary removal of downpipes and steelwork to facilitate works, to be stored and reinstated following works
  • Drainage and topping slab modifications to prevent ponding
  • Installation of new waterproofing membrane system, which is to include new coloured topcoat to match the colour of the current coating
  • Supply and installation of new copper edge flashings, steel angles and floor drain grates where missing
  • Site clean
