Ad-Hoc Security Services for Child and Adolescent Health Service

The Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) treats children from around Western Australia, and is committed to programs that promote lifelong health in children and adolescents. CAHS is made up of Neonatology, Community Health, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) and Perth Children’s Hospital (PCH).

CAHS require the provision of Security Officers on a short-term, as required basis. Externally contracted Security Officers will provide services as and when required across various CAHS sites and act adjunct to internally employed CAHS Security Officers.

While undertaking the services, Security Officers will act as an active and visual deterrent that:

• Protects staff and visitors as well as their property while on site;
• Protects and provides security to site buildings and contents; and
• Assists in managing difficult situations and persons when required.
